Arthur Rossell Tracy, 78, of Chicago and Palatine passed away on Sunday, September 3, 2023. Arthur was born on October 1, 1944, in Yonkers, New York to the late Eileen Marie Tracy (née Rossell) and the late John Charles Tracy.

Arthur was the loving life partner of Deborah Osinski, as well as the loving brother of Rev. David Tracy and the late John (Beverly) Tracy. He was the beloved father of Kristin (Mike) Tracy, John (Alia) Tracy, Erin Tracy (Craig Lambrecht), and David Tracy. He was also a loving father figure to Jason (Shanan) Osinski, Joe Osinski, and Jordan (Dina) Osinski. Arthur was the beloved grandfather to eleven grandchildren, as well as a cherished uncle, cousin, and friend.

Arthur, often called Art, worked in the cemetery and funeral industries for 40 years, helping numerous families during the most difficult time of their lives. He offered compassion, guidance, and comfort to so many.

Arthur was a lifelong athlete and sports fan. He loved cars, music, and his two Irish Wolfhounds, Macabee and Duffy. He was known for his love of the Green Bay Packers and the Cubs, his generosity, and his amazing sense of humor. Arthur was a people person, and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 1, 2023, from 10 AM to 1 PM at Michaels Funeral Home, 800 S. Roselle Road, Schaumburg, IL 60193. An additional service will be held on Wednesday, October 4th, 2023, at 11:00 AM at St. Mary's Cemetery, 114 Sprain Road, Yonkers, NY 10701.
