Mahoney, Barbara (nee Baynes) 91, a lifelong resident of Wilmette, recently of Northfield, passed away on Nov. 25. She graduated cum laude with a BFA from Mundelein College, then later obtained an Associate's Degree from Harper College in Interior Design. She was an acclaimed watercolor artist with paintings in corporate collections around the globe. She enjoyed extensive world travel, loved her book club of 63 years, and spending time with her friends and family.

Beloved wife of the late Thomas (d. 1981), beloved mother of Michele (Jay Keenan), the late Meg Tellez, and the late Dan Mahoney. Cherished grandmother of Caitlin Tellez, Erin (David) Zaknoun, Jake, and Nick Lowe. Proud great-grandmother to Noah and Samir Zaknoun. Devoted daughter of the late Thomas and Antoinette (nee Hoffmann) Baynes. Loving sister to the late Tom Baynes., Jr., admired aunt and great aunt by many nieces & nephews, a friend to all.

Visitation, Sat., Dec. 10, 9:00 am - 10:30 am. Followed by Mass of Christian Burial at Saints Faith, Hope & Charity Parish 191 Linden St., Winnetka. Interment Calvary Cemetery.
