Charlene Taylor of Romeoville, Illinois

September 4, 1938 – November 10, 2025

Charlene Taylor, 87, passed away peacefully in hospice care at Good Samaritan hospital in Downers Grove, IL, surrounded by family. She was born in Iowa to Charles and Hilda (Yates) Statama and moved to South Holland, IL with her older sibling Florence. She was married to Olen J Taylor in March 1957 until his passing in June 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, her husband, her oldest son Robert Allen, youngest son Jeffery Scott. She is survived by her daughter Pamela (Taylor) Distasio, son James Taylor and 13 Grandchildren and many Great Grandchildren.

Her life was celebrated by family and friends on November 29, 2025 at Community Presbyterian Church in Clarendon Hills IL, where she was a long time member.
