Cruz R Flores passed away from complications due to Covid-19.  He is survived by his former spouse Rosemarie Tomaras, his daughters Laura Anne Flores an Christine Eve Flores-Cozza, his grandchildren Kayleigh Rene Flores, David Nicholas Flores, Nicole Rose Cozza and Michael Anthony Cozza, his great-grandchildren Jerami Rene Flores and Leah Madison Anfryl, his sister Rosa Eneida Flores Vera (Doroteo) and his brother Jose Antonio Flores (Lucy).  He is also survived by many beloved nieces and nephews, cousins, an great aunts, and his two furry, four-legged sidekicks Bambi and Sparky.

He was known to everyone as "Bob" or "Uncle Bob".  He worked at S&C Electric in electroplating for nearly 40 years up until he retired.  Prior to working at S&C he worked as a butcher at Great Lakes Meats and was always the "Meat Master" at every family gathering.  When he wasn't attending to the meat, he loved to play dominoes with the family at these gatherings.  He also loved to play chess an backgammon.  He also was an avid bowler and played on many late night leagues.  He loved sports and enjoyed watching boxing, football, and his Cubbies … so glad he was able to see all the Chicago teams win their trophies!  He loved watching his court t.v. and would have made a find judge himself!  He loved sci-fi and was a devout "TREKKIE".  He loved all types of music.  He loved to fish, especially for smelt and trout.  He was a member of the National P.R. Motorcycle Association along with his brother Jose and sister-in-law Lucy.  He enjoyed many road trips and being I the wind with his fellow club brothers and sisters.  He particularly enjoyed giving anyone who wanted a ride on his Harley trike, especially the kids.  He inherited a green thumb from his parents and had the ability to make anything grow and thrive.

He came from a big, crazy, close, wonderful family.  He was deeply loved and will be very missed by many.
