Dale A Dreischarf, 72, of Woodstock, Illinois passed suddenly and peacefully on January 12, 2024.

Dale was a cherished husband and father.

Born January 19,1951, Dale grew up in Des Plaines, Illinois with parents Lila and Paul Dreischarf and younger brother Alan. They preceded him in death. He was a graduate ('69) of Maine West High School where he was a member of the cross country and track team. He graduated from NIU with both a BS ('73) Geography & MS Urban & Regional Analysis and MBA from DePaul University, Chicago. Dale started his career at Continental Bank of Chicago and then Surburban Bank of Palatine. Later in business life he became a consultant where he thrived on resolving challenges. He enjoyed traveling the world for business and sometimes for pleasure with his family. In his leisure time he was fond of listening to all music especially jazz, watching many movies and going to and watching Chicago sports with his sons. But most of all he loved relaxing in Door County with many of his family. He enjoyed walking in Woodstock, participating in the neighborhood clean-up and served on the board.

He will be greatly missed by his beloved wife Jeannie (nee Durham), of 50 years, and loving sons Andrew Dreischarf and Kevin Dreischarf. He brought us joy with his sense of humor and kind heart. He was cremated and no memorial service held at this time. In lieu of flowers please think of him with a donation to the charity of your choice.
