Elaine A. Schultz (nee Brumm) 95, of Buffalo Grove, IL, went to be with the Lord on
January 15th, 2024 after a brief illness.

Elaine was born in Wheeling, IL to Victoria and John Brumm in 1929. She grew up with
six brothers, six sisters and two foster sisters and her foster parents, in the Wheeling
area. Her Grandparents and other family were instrumental in the founding of Buffalo
Grove. Elaine pursued modeling for a period of time, also worked in restaurants and
then met Alfred (Al), and soon after were married and moved to San Diego while he was
in the Navy. Returning to Wheeling when son Alan was born, she worked for Benjamin
Electric, AMF in Illinois and then for Kmart Corp for over 26 years where she retired and
was well known as a leading H.R. Manager in Indiana and Illinois.
Elaine was a football and avid Chicago Bears fan and loved IndyCar and NASCAR
racing, attending many Indy 500 races and all of the activities associated with them.
She loved traveling and seeing new things. She also loved her Bichon, Marcel, who
spent 16 great years with her.
Loving mother of Alan Schultz, of Indiana and Sheryl Wiest (Randall) of Illinois,
Grandmother of Amanda Wiest and Heather (Michael) Bedard. Preceded in death by
her husband of 20+ years, Alfred Schultz of Des Plaines.
She is survived by sisters Joyce (John) Beckman and Judy Ann (Tom) Cooper, brothers
Wayne (Nancy) Brumm, Richard (Beverly) Brumm and Claude (Debbie) Brumm. And
sisters Marilyn (Kenneth) Sprague, and Nancy Reed. She was preceded in death by
sisters Bernice Hanson (Raymond), Betty Jane Stein (Richard), Mariann Most
(Edmund), Virginia Zilligen (Gary), and brothers Larry Brumm (Dolores), Jack Brumm
(Carolyn), Don Brumm (Violet), and her loving Foster Parents Millie and Ed Gieseke (Jr)
of Wheeling IL.
Elaine is also survived by dozens of loving nieces and nephews and great + great-great
nieces and nephews nationwide. She dearly loved all of her large family, too.
Services will be held on Saturday, April 13th, 2024 at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church,
1234 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, IL . Visitation is 10:00am to 11:00am
Followed by the Service at the Church.
