Elmarie Alden Welsch Beno, 85 years old from Antioch, IL, passed away Monday, February 8, 2021 at Journey Care of Glenview.  She was born February 1, 1936 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of the late Elmer and Zazel Marie (Nee Peterson) Welsch.

Elmarie is survived by her daughter, Deborah, her sons, David (Diane), and Steven (Marjorie) and her 2 grandchildren, Alexandra and Nathan Beno.  She is also survived by her sister, Priscilla, many nieces and a nephew, cousins and friends.

She especially enjoyed being part of the PM&L Theatre family, where she was an incredible asset to the organization, stage managing for countless shows, providing mentorship, and serving on the board (its first female president).  She also loved traveling, eating out, watching TV (especially musicals), helping Debbie prep her lessons, playing with the cats, and being with family and friends.

A Celebration of Life and internment will be held at a later date.
