Eric Edward Geye, son of Dee (Orta) Geye and Jeffrey (deceased) Geye, passed away Wednesday, January 31st, on the third anniversary of his grandmother, Esther Spitz's passing. He entered into his Eternal Life after valiantly living with a hereditary neurological disease, Machado-Joseph ataxia, surrounded by family.

He was preceded in death by his father Jeffrey; maternal grandparents, Esther (Frausto) and Hipolito Orta; paternal grandparents, Esther (Barrett) Spitz and Gary Geye; Steve Geye, uncle; Sue (Geye) and Dean Metcalfe (aunt and uncle); Robert Orta (uncle); Richard Orta (uncle) and Darrin Orta (cousin).

He is also survived by his brothers: Scott Leenan (Keith Johnson); Rob (Genevieve) Leenan and Andrew (Tarah) Geye; Emelia Leenan (birthday twin, 4/14), niece; and Gavin Leenan, Cameron Geye, Alexander Geye and Theodore Geye (nephews).
