Irvin Wayne Robertson, 72, of Chicago, IL died Sunday morning December 3rd, 2023 in Mount Prospect, IL.

Wayne was a New Year's baby, born in 1951. He was a rocker back in the 60's and was a roadie for Santana at Woodstock. He also worked at the Kinetic Playground 4812 Clark Street in Chicago (at one point called the Electric Theatre) from 1968-1969. Later on, he worked with his dad cleaning bank vaults, and finally found his calling as an auto parts man. He became disabled in 1995 after being struck by a car while crossing the street.

He was preceded in death by numerous aunts and uncles, his maternal and paternal grandparents, and his father Irvin D Robertson and mother Violet Marie Schroeder. He was their only child and had no siblings.

Wayne is survived by numerous cousins; his wife of 40 years, Wanda D Robertson (nee Long); three children, Sabrina Robertson of Chicago. Deanna (Kamil) Kiedrowski of Tinley Park, and Zachary Robertson of Mount Prospect; and three grandchildren, Samantha, Christopher, and Andrew Kiedrowski.

The cremation will be private, and no memorial service is planned at this time.
