Joyce S. Link passed away peacefully on December 4, 2022 at the age of 89 after a long battle with dementia.

Helen "Joyce" Stokes was born in Washington, DC on August 22, 1933.  She married Patrick J. Link and eventually moved to Chicago for Patrick's job.  Joyce enjoyed raising her children and watching them grow and flourish as adults and become parents themselves.  Her love for family was palpable.  She was preceded in death by her parents Samuel & Katherine Stokes (nee Tippett) and her husband, Patrick of 61 years. She is survived by her children John (Jacquelyn) Link of Libertyville, IL,  Edward Link of Austin, TX, Steven (Theresa) Link of Bartlett, IL and Cynthia (Ronald) Lincicum of Cary, IL; her grandchildren Michael, Christopher, Meghan, Sabrina (Nathanial), Tristan (Phillip), Quinten, Jennifer (Thomas), Paige (Eric), Daniel and Lauren; her great grandchildren Hudson, Noah, Wyat and Charlie; her sister Dorothy Bowles and numerous nieces and nephews.

Private interment will be at Community Presbyterian Church in Mt. Prospect, IL.
