Mary Agnes Jorgenson of Mount Prospect, Illinois passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on August 1, 2025.

Mary was born on April 7, 1952 in Chicago to Francis (Bud) and Marilyn Didier. She grew up in Des Plaines. She was a lifelong Cubs fan, a thoughtful gift giver, she enjoyed yoga, reading, and cooking but most of all spending time with her grandchildren and grand dog Finn. She fought a courageous battle against pancreatic cancer for 4 years without losing her sense of humor.

Mary enjoyed 51 years of marriage with her loving husband, Robert Jorgenson. Together they raised three children: Jessica (Steve) Buchholz, Kristin Jorgenson and Daniel Jorgenson. She was a proud grandmother to Jack and Sara Buchholz and Bennett and Warren Jorgenson.

She is also survived by her siblings: Michael (Cheryl), Thomas (Beth), Jean (Greg) Busse, Karen (Mark) Ackermann, Daniel, David, James (Maggie) and John (Niki) Didier; her brothers-in-law Gordon (Donna) Jorgenson and Richard (Claudia) Jorgenson and many beloved cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Patricia Davis.

A Celebration of Life will be held on August 10, 2025 from 11 am to 3 pm at the Metropolis Ballroom in Arlington Heights. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in her honor to PanCAN www.pancan.org or Lemons of Love www.lemonsoflove.org
