Pam (Parmeshwari) Nichani

August 9, 1931 – December 15, 2024

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Pam (Parmeshwari) Nichani, who left us peacefully on December 15, 2024, at 5:02 AM at Northwest Community Hospital. She was 93 years old and resided in Palatine, Illinois. Her husband, Harry, and her son, Mark, predeceased her.

Pam lived richly in love, kindness, and devotion to her family. She was the oldest and maternal figure to her six siblings. They faced much hardship after Indian Independence. They worked hard and established themselves successfully in Jaipur and Bombay in India before moving to Chicago in 1971.

She is survived by her loving sisters Rukmini and Meera (my mother) and her extended family living in India.

A memorial service to honor Pam's life will be held on 12/19/2024 at 10:30 am at Twin Pines Cemetery, 1090 Rock Road Lane, Suite 10, East Dundee, IL, 60118.

Pam Aunt's memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who were fortunate to know her. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
