Patrick Thomas McCarthy was born February 24, 1953 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He honorably served in
the U. S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He attended and graduated from Rutgers University in New
Jersey. Patrick went on to earn several degrees in technology which allowed him to establish his own
successful consulting agency in Chicago for many years. Patrick was very family oriented and was very
fond of his nephews and great niece. Patrick is survived by his mother Margo Temple of Hanover Park,
his brother Scott McCarthy and his wife Cathy of Palm Coast, Florida as well as his sister, Kathy Young of
Washington Island, Wisconsin. He is also survived by three nephews and their wives, Geoffrey and Kim
Young and their daughter Addie of North Carolina and by Matt and Kelly McCarthy of Winter Garden,
Florida as well as Christopher Young of Ashville, North Carolina. He succumbed to liver cancer and will be
