Timothy Lee Korinek, 70, passed away on August 25, 2026, in McHenry, Illinois, surrounded by the people he loved most.

Timothy was born in Chicago, Illinois, on September 28, 1955, and raised in Addison, Illinois. A hardworking man and concrete excavator and business owner, he took great pride in his work and in providing for his family. He was a man who built things with his hands, but his greatest accomplishment was the family he built around him.

Timothy had a large presence and a personality that was impossible to miss. He was loudly goofy, tough, fiercely protective, and almost always looking for a way to make someone laugh. His sense of humor, his stories, and his unmistakable presence could fill a room. Beneath his tough exterior was a man who loved deeply and cared fiercely for the people closest to him.

He was an avid motorcycle enthusiast and loved the freedom of riding, but nothing meant more to him than spending time with his loved ones. Family was at the center of his life, and being a husband, father, and grandfather brought him some of his greatest joy.

Timothy is survived by his beloved spouse, Sheila; his children, Timothy Jr., Giovanni (Marjorie), Kristopher (Lindsay), Ashley (Kurt), Matthew, and Antonio (Dr. Samantha); his grandchildren, Scarlett, Kaine, Mila, Rowan, Sonny, and Senovia; and his grandson who is due in January, with many more grandchildren to come and carry his legacy forward. He is also survived by his brother, William Korinek.

Timothy leaves behind more than memories. He leaves behind a family shaped by his strength, his love, his humor, and his unwavering protectiveness. His children and grandchildren will carry pieces of him with them—in their stories, their laughter, and in the love they share with one another.

His presence was larger than life, and his absence will be felt just as deeply.

He was deeply loved, deeply admired, and will be missed beyond words.
