Yukiko "Yuki" (nee Hara) Hiyama, 95, of Lincolnwood IL, went to be with the Lord on the
evening of December 14, 2023. Yuki was preceded in death by her dear husband, William "Tak"
Hiyama, and is survived by her 3 children, Carol (Phil) Martorelli, Marsha (late Tom) Ishikawa,
and Wayne (Karen) Hiyama. She was the beloved grandmother of Eric (Christina) Christl, Ricky,
Mikey and Joey Martorelli, Matt (Aimee) Ishikawa, Doug (Kristi) Ishikawa, Lauren (Steven)
Sauder, and Trace and Zach Hiyama. She was also blessed and loved by her 12 great
grandchildren.

Yuki had a big personality, an even bigger laugh and had a way of making others feel welcomed
and a part of her family. She loved to cook, had the gift of hospitality and was generous with her
time and talents to bless those around her. Her bread and popcorn "ministry" was well known
with her church family and friends.

Services to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, January 20, at Lakeside Church of
Chicago, 3939 W Howard, Skokie, IL. Visitation will be from 11-1 with a service to follow.
